H22 begins the Great Balloon Race!

This will not only be a fun event to be part of, it is also for a fantastic cause.

SHINE are a charity that help people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland with spina bifida and hydrocephalus which is a birth defect that occurs when the vertebrae don’t form properly around a babies spine, causing mental and physical disabilities. The funds of this race will go towards the support of over 5000 families caring for children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. This is often a lifelong commitment due to the severity of the disability so the work they do is life changing for the people involved.

The virtual balloon race will be held on the 1st of June and kick off in Los Angeles, ending on June 8th with the balloon that has traveled the furthest being announced as the winner. You can decorate your balloon, and follow it’s progress online.
